4 Tips for Las Vegas First-Timers

If you're a first-timer to Las Vegas, it can be easy to overwhelmed by all the action it has to offer. The lights, people, advertisements and street-shows can be exhausting even for the experienced Las Vegas visitor. The following tips will serve you well and help you enjoy your Vegas experience. • TIP 1: Book Your Activities Online.
As I mentioned before, Las Vegas is a super busy city. You don't want to miss a great Vegas show because you didn't plan ahead. Las Vegas hotels, tours and shows are the stars of Vegas. Plan ahead! • TIP 2: Book a Room Close to The Strip. Booking a room on, or just off The Strip is a great way to go. You'll want to be close so you can walk from casino to casino, as well as all the great Las Vegas restaurants located on The Strip. • TIP 3: Bring Comfortable Shoes. Now this may feel like a bit out of place, but you'll thank Stay Las Vegas when you return home. Walking is the best way to experience Las Vegas. However, don't be fooled! Las Vegas is visually deceiving. Going from casino to another casino may look like a simple walk across the street, but in reality, it's much further. The distance between hotels is more than you think. Trust us – take comfortable shoes to Vegas! • TIP 4: Go For the Upgrade! When you check in to your hotel, it's always worth asking the front desk if there are any upgrades available. This Las Vegas strategy will work for you, depending on the time of year. You may be able to upgrade to a room with a better view for the same cost. It's worth a shot! • Keep these four simple first-timer tips in mind and you'll have a great time in Las Vegas!

Great tips for sure. Another Las Vegas tip is regarding buffet coupons. I found a review of the TI buffet at http://myvegasrestaurants.blogspot.com/2007/11/hit-buffet.html
